How do I register a complaint?

Open JanSetu, tap "Report a Complaint", choose a category, allow location (or pin it on the map), add a photo and description, and submit. You will get a reference number to track it.

Can I file a complaint without an account?

Yes. Guest and anonymous complaints are supported. Provide a phone number if you want SMS status updates and to track your complaint.

How long does resolution take?

Each category has a service-level timeline (SLA). Water and electricity issues are prioritised. You can see the expected resolution date on your complaint.

What if my complaint is not resolved in time?

It is automatically escalated to a senior officer (Panchayat Secretary, then BDO, then District Administration).

Common Solutions
No water supply

Check if it is a scheduled supply day. If a pipeline leak is visible, report under "Water Supply" with a photo and the exact location pin.
